The Confucius Institute at Comenius University (CICU), Slovakia, jointly built by SUIBE and Comenius University,held its 2020 Annual Council Meeting on May 28. The Chinese members of the council met with their Slovakian counterparts via video link.
The council debriefed and voted to approve the work report of last year and a 2021 work plan of the CICU, and gave full recognition to the routine work and operation of the CICU in 2020.
Ms. Yu Xuemei, Vice President of SUIBE, pointed out that SUIBE will become more international and continue to assist the CICU to strength its Chinese language teaching and sinology research.It will also highlight the CICU’s orientation of academic research, and better use the platform of CICU to deepen the cooperation and exchanges between the two universities.
